Database utilizing Google Sheets and SQL

The HISD Ex-student database is a project in collaboration with the Hillsboro Independent School District's (HISD) alumni organization and Hillsboro Independent School Disctrict. The project was commissioned to create an intuitive and user friendly database with the ability to efficiently edit data and manage and create reports while keeping costs low.

With the completion of this project the alumni organization was able to streamline their services, increasing their overall productiviy by 40%. Inclusion of features such as data entry forms, dynamic data monitoring, search and filtering functionality, and live reports generation helped to reduce overall costs by 80% and consolidated many manual procedures into automated functions using Google Apps Script.

Google Sheets paired with SQL allowed for easy access and viewing of data as well as the built-in security features backed by Google helping the alumni organization to easily integrate the solution for their needs without delay.
